Youth Squirrel Hunt 2019

Join The Land Learning Foundation and the Missouri Department of Conservation on Saturday August 17th, 2019 for the Youth Squirrel Hunt! Kids ages 9-15 will have an experience of a lifetime when they learn to hunt. Afterwards, they will learn to cook and clean their harvest. Each child will be paired with a mentor of the same sex. Meet at Richard Mauzey’s Machine Shop at 18714 Mike Road, Mendon, MO 64660. Register with larry@landlearning.org or bobbersonthelake@cvalley.net by august 14th.
Breakfast is provided before the hunt, then a safety presentation will be given. Please meet at 0530 the event will commence around 1100.
Please bring a water bottle, wear long sleeves, long pants, and be prepared for tick and mosquitoes. Bring a 0.20 or 0.410-gauge shotgun, NO 0.22 rifles allowed! Guns and shells are available.
