Outdoor Education

The Land Learning Foundation (LLF) provides people of all ages with opportunities to connect with the natural world through interactive outdoor education programs and participation in habitat restoration projects and outdoor sporting activities.

Some Examples of our work include:

Youth Education Programs

LLF offers field education experiences for youth designed to engage participants in conservation and outdoor sporting activities. We offer several programs throughout the year for student groups and non-profit organizations. We can also fashion a program that complements a range of K-12 classes or collegiate-level courses.
We also educate youth on water quality and the future value of land conservation. We host fishing events, trash clean ups, water quality testing, tree and pollinator plot plantings, and Conservation Days.

Land Stewardship

LLF offers training for farmers and other landowners seeking to keep their land where it belongs by minimizing erosion along streams and rivers. We also direct support for streambank restoration and conservation services. We have assisted landowners with streambank stabilization, trash clean-ups, and conservation.
